For as long as I can remember I have loved to write. Combine that creativity with an inquisitive mind and a desire for adventure and cultural immersion and what you get is a career wordsmith whose prose is her craft.
A journalist for more than 20 years, I have worked for magazines, newspapers, PR companies and in television production. As a self-professed global roamer who spent four years living and working in the United Arab Emirates, I’ve always had the intrigue and motivation to discover new places.
More interested in passport stamps than possessions, I’m proud to have developed my talent into a specialty that focuses on travel and lifestyle journalism, with a touch of photography on the side.
I’ve been a destination expert for Telegraph Travel (UK), Conde Nast Traveller and Culture Trip, a freelance contributor for Sustainable Guides and the Top 10 Sydney travel guide, and had content published broadly in publications including Ultratravel Middle East, Etihad Airways’ Atlas by Etihad, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Metro.co.uk, The Times (UK), The Independent (UK), The Khaleej Times, Eat.Live.Escape (ele) magazine and Explore Travel, to name a few.
